Here are the 5 random things that caught my eye this week that make me happy.
1: Love

Today I feel love. My husband has had a busy week at work and was out of town today, so I haven’t talked to him for most of the week or seen him much.
The saying is true – absence makes the heart grow fonder.

These sisters are unbelievably talented. They always have fresh ideas, beautiful printables, and fun crafts that leave me thinking, “I wish I thought of that!”

My happy song this week is the Beekeeper’s Daughter by the All-American Rejects. The song is catchy and makes me smile.

I have some birthday parties in the next few weeks that I’m getting ready for. I went to a local party store the other day to get some supplies and saw notices all around the store about a national helium shortage.
What!?! How will we throw birthday parties without floating balloons? Based on some of the articles I read, we may be without floating balloons very soon.

I’m looking forward to a family trip to Island Park in about a week. I can’t wait to sit around the fire and roast marshmallows!
My daughter’s birthday plans are coming along well. We are still trying to nail down the party theme and ideas for my son’s party in August.
I feel like summer needs to slow down. I want to do something super fun before the summer is over. Maybe we can go tubing down the river…
