Playing in the Water
Nothing makes me happier than playing in the water.
Summer is the three months out of the year when it is OK to get wet, get dirty, and make messes. A kid’s dream world, right?
My son was outside this week jumping on the tramp with the water hose. He was grinning ear to ear and having the time of his life. It made me happy to see his happiness.
Good Mornings
Nothing makes me happier than good mornings.
If you’ve been following the nothing happier series for long, you’ve probably noticed that I am fascinated by the sky. To me, the sky is the world’s largest painting that is constantly changing.
I love when the sun peaks over the mountain in the morning and the sun rays glow through the clouds. When the sun rises each morning, it is God’s way of saying, “Good morning. Have a great day. I love you.”
Kids Climbing Trees
Nothing makes me happier than kids climbing trees.
Last week we met up with my in-laws for a picnic in the park. It was a great, low-key evening that ended too early due to plans my daughter had with her friend. While we were at the park, the kids took turns climbing the perfect climbing tree.
If I had three wishes, one of them would be to have a beautifully landscaped yard with huge trees perfect for climbing.
