Rated 2 out of 5 by Doesn't do well in the wash... The main reason I switched from my old comforter to a duvet cover was that I felt like it would be easier to wash. After washing this once (cold water, low temp dry), the raw hems on the stitching are completely coming undone. It doesn't seem to be ruining the structural integrity of the comforter, but there are long runs of thread coming off the seams. I also noticed that the dryer exploded with a hilarious/cartoonish amount of lint when I opened it. Not sure where all that is coming from, but it can't be good. It is a lovely comforter though, and very soft. I will be sad when it dies, which I expect to be soon. It's sad you can't pay more and expect to get higher quality... you just end up paying more. Rated 4 out of 5 by Nimbus: Dreamy Comforter This comforter is gorgeously dreamy; just as the name implies, it's as if you're sleeping in the clouds! Even though the entire comforter is monochrome, it's intricate details, seams, and rouching gives it a luxurious look and feel. The fabric could be better, as the quality is lacking just a tad bit, but not overly so. However, I am worried my hubby will ruin the beauty within a year's time... but I really hope that won't be the case. I love it, but I would feel more comfortable if the fabric quality were better (especially for the cost)! I have heard from other reviewers that the quality lessens with washing, which worries me for when the time comes. November 16, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is the jersey version of the Cirrus duvet which reminds me a bit of the Rosette quilt. The Nimbus duvet is very beautiful and comfortable. It is a lot softer than the Cirrus and has a more casual feel to it. The queen cover is a bit larger than a regular queen insert leaving extra wiggle room. It doesn't bother me too much because the ruffle design does a good job masking any gaps. The color is listed as a Ballet Pink which is a very faint pink that looks almost white in the pictures but looks more pink in real life. As an added perk, it's easy to clean and machine washable too! December 29, 2010
