Friday 5 – Carnival Party, Ice Cream Sandwiches, Star Wars, Mr. Trololo, & Sidewalk Chalk

Here are the 5 random things that caught my eye this week that make me happy.

1: Carnival Birthday Party

For me, a carnival themed birthday party is the end all be all of birthday party themes.  It is endlessly fun.  I love this carnival party – great ideas and darling decor.

2: Patriotic Ice Cream Sandwiches

Is the Fourth of July already on it’s way?!  Yikes.  I need to get busy.  I have a lot of fun ideas I’d like to share.  I love these patriotic ice cream sandwiches.  They look delicious and are absolutely adorable.  They’d be fun for a Fourth of July BBQ.

3: Star Wars Artwork

I’m in the middle of moving my kids into their own bedrooms in the basement.  My son was very clear that he wants a Star Wars themed bedroom.  I have had fun finding ideas for his room.  I love this Star Wars artwork.  I’m trying to decide if I should buy these prints (the colors are a little off) or attempt to create something similar myself.  Stay tuned to find out.

4: Mr. Trolol

Words cannot explain how or why this song makes me happy.  It is so silly.  It makes my heart smile.  I like Mr. Trololo.  I wish we could all be a little more like him – singing our hearts out and walking around like we are having the time of our life.

5: Sidewalk Chalk

Sidewalk chalk is a great summer fun activity.  I love when my kids get ambitious and cover our driveway in temporary miniature masterpieces made out of sidewalk chalk.
