Caramel Corn Recipe

Homemade Caramel Corn Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Karo Syrup
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar

Instructions

Pop 6-7 bags of microwave popcorn. Put popcorn into a large bowl.  You will probably need more than one bowl.  Get rid of the kernels from the popped popcorn bags before putting into the bowl.

On a stove, heat all the ingredients to a soft ball stage.  Pour caramel over the top of the popcorn.

This treat is ooey-gooey goodness.  It is the perfect combination of a salty and sweet treat and is a great Friday or Saturday night movie or game night treat.

This recipe makes a ton of popcorn, so plan on sharing!  You could package some of the caramel corn on a plate and deliver it to some neighbors.  I haven’t made a printable (yet), but you could make cute tag and add a saying like, “Just popping by to say hi!  We’re glad to have you as neighbors.”

Happy weekend!  Hope you have some great memories with your family and friends and enjoy some delicious food and yummy treats!
